Our unique perforated grid fabric allows for UPF 30+ sun protection and stretchy durability while maximizing passive cooling. We paired our unique fabric with features we wished for in other sun hoodies: four low-profile snaps to dump heat when needed, dual function thumbloops that also can be used as a smart/GPS watch passthrough, a hood large enough to fit over a climbing helmet, and a drop hem to keep you covered when mountain biking or bending over. Whether it be high-summit pushes or lazy paddles, you'll never leave your Gimlet behind. The sunshirt that does more.

Does UPF 30+ wash out?
No. The protection comes from the knit structure itself, not a coating, so it lasts as long as the shirt does.
Does the fabric cling?
The Gimlet’s unique fabric structure glides effortlessly over the skin. We hated the boxy, clingy/static-y, stuffy feel of most sunshirts, so we worked hard to source fabric that wouldn’t do any of that.
What size smartwatch can fit the thumbloop?
We’ve tested with an Apple Watch Ultra (49mm x 44mm bezel) and a Coros Apex 2 Pro (46mm bezel). The Apple Watch Ultra is one of the largest out there, so chances are you’ll be good to go.
What helmets can I wear with it?
The Gimlet’s hood was designed to fit over a standard climbing helmet and meant to pair effortlessly with a cap or 5-panel. Depending on your type of bike helmet, The Gimlet may be more comfortable under the helmet.

Machine wash cold with like colors, hang dry. No fabric softener — it clogs the grid and dulls the wicking. No bleach, no iron.
