Nebu Repair Policy

Our Promise

We built Nebu gear to be worn hard, and lived in. Every piece we make is
designed for real life. If your Nebu gear gets damaged through honest use, send
it to us. If we can fix it, we will. If we can't, we'll make it right.

Our goal is simple: keep gear in rotation and out of landfills.

What We Repair

We repair damage from real use, including:

  • 1. Blown seams and broken stitching
  • 2. Broken or stuck zippers
  • 3.Torn fabric, and holes
  • 4.Snaps, buttons, and hardware
    failures
  • 5.Worn-through high-contact areas
    (elbows, knees, cuffs)

This covers damage well beyond manufacturing defects. If you wore it out,
tore it on a branch, or snagged it on a fence, send it in.

What We Don't Cover

  • 1. Intentional damage or
    modification
  • 2. Cosmetic wear that doesn't affect
    function (natural fading, pilling, abrasions, softening of fabric over time are
    signs of a life well worn)
  • 3. Damage from improper care
    (bleach, machine drying when the label says otherwise, etc.)
  • 4. Items not purchased from Nebu or
    an authorized Nebu retailer
  • 5. Loss or theft

How It Works

  1. 1. Start a repair request. Use this link [returns portal] and enter in your email or shipping zip code, and your order number (please email support@nebuclothing if you do not have your order number handy)
  2. 2. Select File a Warranty Claim button in the top right.
  3. 3. Select the product you our submitting a repair or warranty claim for, along with the reason, a photo
    of the damage and a brief description of what happened.
  4. 4. Confirm your shipping address and Submit.
  5. 5. Ship it to us. We'll provide a prepaid shipping
    label. Send the item to our repair shop.
  6. 6. We assess and repair. Our team will evaluate the
    damage and repair your gear. Most repairs are completed within [2-3
    weeks].
  7. 7. Get it back. We'll ship your repaired gear
    back to you at no charge.

Cost

  • Manufacturing defects (seam failures, hardware
    failures, fabric defects that appear under normal use): Repair free of
    charge, shipping both ways is covered by Nebu.
  • Wear-and-tear and use damage (rips, tears, abrasion, zipper
    wear): Repair free of
    charge, customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product Nebu, unless order purchased Unlimited Returns Shipping Insurance add-on. Nebu covers shipping product back to customer..

When We Can't Repair

If your gear is damaged beyond repair, we'll work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, that may mean:

1. A replacement with the same or comparable item
2. A credit toward a new Nebu product
3. A discount on a replacement purchase

We handle these on a case-by-case basis. "Within reason" means we'll be fair, honest, and practical about it.

No Receipt Required

If it's Nebu gear, we'll take care of it. We just need the email or order number to confirm the products eligibility.

A Note on SustainabilityRepair is the most sustainable thing either of us can do. Every item we fix is one that stays out of a landfill. We'd rather spend time at a sewing machine than see our gear in a trash heap. That's why this policy exists.If your Nebu gear has reached the end of its usable life and truly can't be repaired or worn, send it back to us anyway. We'll recycle the materials responsibly.
